the Old Natchez Trail:
it woodland highway used by Indians, settlers, travelers, robbers, adventurers, soldiers, etc. for hundreds of years, i suspect the Indians used it for thousands.
this is a portion of it that still remains; stand here and stand in the traveling footsteps of our country's history in the making. the ghosts of these voices are everywhere in these woods.
