more Natchez Trace stuff-

so these pics and the Old Natchez Trail stuff and the Emerald Mound are all from my first day on the Trace- it was an arduous day of riding but flecked along the way with beautiful countryside which was hard to capture on camera because the forest is so dense. but the spirits of the forest are all around and the echos of history coming out of it are powerful and moving; at times on the ride i experienced chills from being in the presence of such history. but that makes me think too- everywhere you go, someone has walked before you and quite possibly on an errand that may have changed the course of history, it just may not be documented.....
