last days in Tupelo-
oh yeah, so the gig at The Blue Canoe went really well, i made decent money in tips and was fed this giant burger, the one pictured here is not quites as big as the one i had- this thing had, two meat patties, swiss, provolone, cheddar, chili, jalepenos, pickle, lettuce, tomato, green pepper, green chillies and a fried egg!
if booking a tour and going through north Mississippi i sugest booking at the Blue Canoe, the owner's name is Adam and he's really into booking music that is unlike what all of the other venues in town are booking, he's bringing different stuff to town, he has some cool stuff booked there now.- ok so i've been trying to upload a pic of this burger, but it just isn't happening-sorry-
what can i say? Tupelo was super fun. i met so many great folks there.
the last night i was in town my second hosts, Zeek and Laura, invited an assortment of their friends over and we had a grand jam session, with banjo, guitar, drums and trombone. these folks had some of the most colourful friends and i can't thank them enough for their wonderful hospitality! i wish i would of thought to get a pic of all the folks that came to hang with us, they were all so cool and some were down right hilarious!
