Natchez MS: lot 3

so this statue in
the cemetery was
erected on the grave
of an Italian imigrant
who was born in ahhh
some time in the early 18's and died in Goergia
but was burried in
Natchez- i sang a song
at this grave-
we were kind of
worried that this would
be a pretentious act,
especially since we filmed it however, while i was singing i realized that i was singing to my ancestors and i just sang to the face of that statue-

i have no idea what's the deal with the lady head with the legs, wings and the goose heads comin' out of it, it's the base of the Italian tomb and it's such a bad ass image-

the poem in this other
pic was on an Irish girl's
tombstne cire 18oo's.

and then there's sunset on the Mississippi-
