back to front- the day ends well, just met someone from Austin in a cafe in Gidings, had a nice conversation with her. caught a ride into Gidings with this fellow Billy who sells wrecked cars for a living, he's an auctioneer.
important note: 1.) HWY 290 is not a bike route! it is Hell's Landing Strip
2.) HWY 21 also, not a bike route! it is Hell's urethra!
3.) there is a strange reclusive artist that lives deep in the woods between
Bastrop and Paige. you can find her if you turn right at Old Potato rd.
instead of left towards Paige. i rode several miles in the wrong direction
on gravel roads today, still that was way more enjoyable than dodging fiery
kidney stones with a midget sewn to my back! funny how your imagination
plays on you when your are lost on a country road- ha! imagination my ass,
somebody else's imagination if you want to call it that- there's no way the
artist's jealous lover was gona run me down in his gigantic red pickup truck
with a home made welded steel grill that looks like shark teeth for looking at his lady
while i'm at me weakest point hacking up phlegm
because i ate too much honey, she only gave me directions- sometimes
i hate what media has put in my brain, that's another reason for this trip...
to dry that media shit right outa there!
4.) don't swig honey when you feel like you need a carb infusion, a teaspoon will
do ya if you have one. it causes something like an allergic reaction. or you can just eat the dates that were smart enough to bring with you.
okay, so yeah, today was a swim in the lake of fire.
but yeah stayin' hydrated and nourished has not been a big issue, pumpkin seeds, dried cranberries and raisins and water with lemon salt and sugar do ya right!
dinner at the Kitchens' house don't hurt either.
thanks for your comments and encouragements, i don't think i've gone nutz just yet so don't send the cookie truck after me- you'll know when it's time...
peace, light and stuff.
